I had such a great experience here. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, and they took the time to answer every question I had. I’m allergic to cats, so they went above and beyond by bringing out hypoallergenic breeds to help me safely test my allergies since I’m interested in adopting in the future. It made the whole visit so much easier and way less stressful. I genuinely enjoyed my time there and really appreciated how accommodating everyone was. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone considering a new furry friend!

My husband and I had a tough time searching for the right puppy for our little family and had come across many scams. It wasn’t until we went to CT Puppies and Kittens that we finally felt some ease. The facility is extremely clean and well kept and the staff is incredibly warm and knowledgeable about the breeds they have.
The owner was incredibly kind and let our family spend as much time with what ever puppies we wanted to see even if that meant seeing them a second time to make sure we had the right puppy for our family. There was no sense of pressure to choose and buy right away.

We settled on our little angel baby, a miniature golden doodle and took her home that very day. The process of getting the puppy was seamless and they also offer financing for them should you want to spread out payments. They also provided us multiple resources for our new puppy as well as a puppy care break down before we took her home. Our family absolutely recommends this business to anyone looking for a new little addition to their family.

I had such a great experience at this pet store!

For starters, the place was spotless, which immediately stood out to me, and the staff were not only super friendly but also very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The variety of dog breeds is also quite extensive.

I spent some time playing with the Pomeranian 🥹 so energetic and adorable! I completely fell in love with the Corgi. It absolutely melted my heart! 🐶💕

On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, which made the whole experience even better. I took the Corgi because I simply couldn’t resist! 😍😍

I would highly recommend this pet store to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming place with the sweetest pets and wonderful staff.

I have yet to purchase anything from here, but the staff are very kind. Their kittens and puppies are well kept. The breeders are all ethical. It is always a treat to come by and see the variety of breeds of cats and dogs (Siamese, Ragdoll, munchkin, British shorthair, Pembroke corgi, Boston terrier, husky, dachshund, and many more).

We got our beloved Pink about a month ago and let me tell you, we are still head over heels for her. Pink has the heart of a lion and she’s one sassy little girl. To no one’s fault she did get sick but the awesome staff at this location was amazing at making sure she was okay and following up with us throughout the whole process. We really wanted to acknowledge them because we thought the process would be a pain but they made it painless and easy.

We would recommend this location to EVERYONE and we would most certainly get another pups from here! We traveled all the way from NH to CT because they in fact have the cutest puppies ever.

This place is amazing. We just started our search for a Fur baby and taking the Trip was worth it. Their Staff was very accommodating. I appreciate them making time to explain everything to us even if at the beginning we informed them that we wouldn’t be taking a puppy home today. They still treated us fairly. We even got a chance to meet some Maltese, poodles, havanese, shih Tzu, and Bichom Frise. * yes I took notes of all of them because I was interested in Hypoallergenic breeds for my family. We will be coming back 2 weeks before Christmas to pick the Perfect One. Thank you to the Amazing Staff. SEE YOU SOON.

I went to Connecticut Puppies & Kittens with the intention of purchasing a little friend for my home and that’s exactly what I did! I found myself a cute mini poodle for me and my family and we are super happy with her! I can’t begin to explain how kind and welcoming they are and I was lucky enough to be helped my Megen and a couple of other nice ladies. I had a wonderful experience getting my toy poodle from this store! One of the things I appreciated most was being able to walk in and visit multiple times before making a decision. There was never any pressure, just patience and support as I spent time getting to know the puppy I was interested in.

Shama was especially incredible throughout the entire process. She was warm, knowledgeable, and walked me through every step of the purchase with care and honesty. She gave me tons of helpful information on the dos and don’ts of puppy care and even took the time to walk me through what my puppy’s daily routine should look like, tailored to my work schedule. That really helped me feel prepared and confident.

When I brought my puppy home, I was provided with all the necessary paperwork, including breeder and vet information, plus a great starter kit of supplies. The experience was smooth, thoughtful, and truly joyful from start to finish. Highly recommend this place!

I want to start by saying I 100% recommend! I was a bit disappointed at first because I was texted a photo of a “ available” Mainecoon kitten but when I arrived that next morning was told that cat was sold days before they texted me. I felt tricked to come in but when I tell you the staff 1000% made up for it. The 2 gentleman there were very knowledgeable and friendly. Allowed us time to play and bond with kittens of all breeds. They even helped us narrow down our choices because we wanted them all! The shop was very clean and all the kittens smelled like baby soap! They take sanitation seriously because I was expecting the pet store smell and this store actually smelled pretty fresh/clean. It was a smooth process and we just love our kitten! He was well trained for the litter box, shots were up to date and he gets along with our 10 year old cat. We had just lost our 7 year old cat to surgery complications and they really help us with not just buying a cat but choosing a new family member. Overall they have a happy customer and if we ever want to expand and add another cat we know where to go! Thank you again!!

I was lucky enough to get the best Kitten from Michael and his team. I got to meet several kittens in the breed I wanted. We found the most perfect boy ever. The process was seamless. update: Zinna is completely healthy, after leaving CT puppy’s and cats we booked an appointment with our family vet and she was completely healthy, weight, body even her sample we brought, it came back with no concerns ! Definitely a perfect spot to get your furry family addition !

With so many scammers on line, I did not want to take the chance of purchasing a puppy online. So I drove my family to the store all the way from Brooklyn and it was worth the drive. The cleanliness of this place is Amazing. Customer service was A+. Was greeted at the door when we walked in. Yes the store was super busy but the staff still made it their duty to inform us that we can browse around and they will attend to us soon. There’s a great selection from teacups to standard size poodles. Which is the breed we came for. We left with a toy size poodle and she is such a joy and worth every penny we paid. I recommend this place to anyone serious wanting to add a fur baby to their family.

These people are the best. Many unique breeds. I found them by searching for Maine Coons in the area. After reading the reviews, I started texting and they were kind and shown me all available kittens. I traveled over 2 and a half hours and let me tell you it was very worth the trip. The place is immaculate, white floors, play pens where you can interact with your animal of interest. Plenty of staff tending to all the animals. All animals were lively and full of energy, all but the ones that managed to sleep with all the commotion going on. Every animal seems to be fit and healthy, not one that looked ill or malnourished. Not one soiled cage and most of them had 2 or most animals in them. My daughter well no, a kitten chose her and they bonded as I did paperwork. The kitten did very well on the ride home, slept in her lap almost the entire time. Highly recommended. Just a heads up, animals come from breeders all over so these are not rescues

It quickly became obvious that courtesy, knowledge and competence are cliché understatements when it comes to these artisan entrepreneurs. They didn’t just sell us a pet; they curated a client experience, as they do for everyone who walks in their door. Their squeaky-clean retail space invited my spouse and me right in to engage with a generous selection of professionally and humanely-bred pups and kitties. While we interacted with several creatures of our fancy, breed specialist Roberto answered all of our questions, and even asked us a few, in order to home in on the appropriate (and inappropriate) breeds for our lifestyle. We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful, healthy Doxiepoo, and we send them adorable pictures all the time! Whether you’re considering purebreds, mixed breeds or exotics, this place is your destination. Check them out in-person asap. It’s even worth traveling out of your way!
